24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Reports can also be completed at the TDFPS website.

Online reporting can take up to 24 hours to process.

 

Call 911 or your local law enforcement agency if the situation is an emergency.

 

Call the Abuse/Neglect Hotline at 1-800-252-5400 if:
-You believe your situation requires action in less than 24 hours.
-You have insufficient data to complete the online report.

If you are in doubt as to whether to make a report, error on the side of safety and make the call.

The law requires you to make a report if you suspect abuse or neglect.
